
CCMC 2023 Registration
Week 1: July 8–14 | Week 2: July 15–21
There are three ways to register for CCMC:

Each camper must submit a registration form. We encourage you to register online, even if you plan to pay by check. A deposit of $200 reserves a space in your preferred week.
Fill in the Online Registration Form with your personal information and camp preferences. There is a box you can check to tell us whether you are paying your deposit with PayPal or by check.
After clicking the Submit button, a screen will appear that will allow you to pay your deposit by PayPal. At this point, if you are paying by check, go get out your checkbook and pop a check into the mail. If you are paying with PayPal, click the appropriate button. If you are applying for a scholarship, pay your $50 deposit, then go to the Scholarships page and download the application.
We want to give as many folks as possible the opportunity to come to camp. If you are hoping to come to both weeks of camp, you must indicate which is your preferred week. We will register you in your preferred week then put you on the wait list for your second choice. Can't decide? Check out our Classes & Teachers. If requesting both weeks, you must pay a $400 deposit.
In addition, we ask that you agree to the following conditions:

All teachers, staff, and students must show proof of vaccination. (If you do not wish to be vaccinated or cannot be vaccinated for any reason, please plan on coming when it is safe for unvaccinated folks.)

Once we receive your registration and deposit we will send you a link to a secure site for you to upload photos of your vaccination card (front and back). Only the registrar will be able to see your card information. You must bring your card to camp as well. Taking a picture of your card means you always have it on your phone if you forget the paper copy.
We will keep you updated on the CDC guidelines and California protocol regarding COVID-19 and mask wearing. We will keep you updated. Conditions are subject to change based on legal and logistic requirements and recommendations.
Balance: After your registration and deposit are received, wait for an email confirming your lodging and balance amount. This email will include instructions and links for uploading your vaccination card and paying your balance. (You may come back here and click the Pay Balance with PayPal button or go directly to PayPal and send the appropriate amount to California Coast Music Camp.)
Lodging and Prices
Price includes all meals, instruction, materials, and lodging:

Bed in a house: $1,800
Lodging will be on a first come, first served basis. Please select your top two choices when registering. 1-person cabins, beds in houses, and space for tents and RVs are extremely limited. Choosing a bed in a house does not guarantee a private room. There are no RV hookups. Some cabins have electricity, some do not. The bath houses are fabulous—truly!—and have plenty of power to charge your phones and other items.
A $200 deposit is due with your registration form (cash, check, or PayPal in U.S. funds only). Full payment is due June 1.
Who Can Register
CCMC is primarily for adults 18 and older; some students aged 14–17 are accepted on a case-by-case basis (contact us for more information). No pets allowed (not even adorable, well-behaved ones).
Cancellations
If you cancel by June 1, we will refund all money received, less a $100 handling fee. If you cancel between June 1 and two days before your session begins, we will refund all but $200. No refunds starting from two days before your session begins. Registrations are not transferable. Send any questions or cancellation requests to info@musiccamp.org.
The Waiting List
If your preferred week is full when you register, you can do one of the following:

Register for the other week (if there is room)

Register for your preferred week or for the first available opening (which may mean the other week). Pay by check, which we will not cash until you acknowledge that you can still attend on the available week.

Have your deposit returned (your deposit is returned if you don't get off the waitlist)
Typically, everyone who stays on the waiting list gets into camp, but it might not happen until a day or two before camp begins (of course, we can’t promise you’ll get in). We average 10 to 12 cancellations for each week from registered campers. Some people on the waiting list cancel also. Campers as high on the waiting list as #36 have gotten in, usually at the last minute. If you cancel from the waiting list or don’t make it into camp, we'll return all the money you’ve sent us.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in at camp starts at noon on Saturday of each week.
To help create a familiar community where everyone feels welcome and safe, we strongly discourage late arrivals. If you have obligations that delay your arrival until after 6 p.m. on Saturday please CALL US at 360-224-8007 so we’ll know when to expect you. There is no pro-rated tuition if you arrive late.
Arrivals after Saturday and drop-in visitors are not allowed.
Camp is over after breakfast on Friday. If you absolutely must leave early, you can of course do so. However, tuition is not pro-rated if you leave early.
