CCMC Summer Camp

The annual summer camp is the major focus of activity for CCMC. CCMC runs two independent, week-long sessions each July with beginning, intermediate and advanced classes for adult musicians and singers.

The camps take place in Placer County, California (about 3 hours east of San Francisco). Just east of Auburn, this site has the following features.

• Flat terrain.
• Wheelchair accessibility.
• Plenty of parking.
• Easy unloading and pack-up for cabins, with parking nearby.
• A toilet and shower in each cabin, with an on-demand water heater. Tenters have access to a centrally located bathroom/shower house.
• Virtually unlimited camping space, with lots of shaded, flat spots.
• A campfire circle where we can make music all night (although fires are not permitted during fire season).
• A large, clean swimming pool, with bathhouse.
• Nearby stores in Foresthill, about 10 minutes away.
• Medical help (EMS) no more than 10 minutes away.
• Sixty-seven miles from Sacramento International Airport (SMF).
• Lots of trees, fresh air, and beautiful views to enjoy!
