Scholarships

To help make camp accessible to a broader audience, some scholarships are available for each week of camp. If you can’t afford full tuition, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship, which may cover up to half of the camp fees. Scholarship recipients are not expected to compensate by working for CCMC (although helping hands are always appreciated).

How To Apply

To apply for a scholarship, you must complete both the scholarship application and camp registration forms. When you register, you will pay a reduced deposit of $50. We cannot process your scholarship application unless we also receive your registration information and deposit.

Apply for a scholarship on-line and register by clicking these buttons:

Our best scholarship outreach is by word of mouth. Please let others know that reduced-tuition scholarships are available. For more information, please email scholarships@musiccamp.org or call us at 650-306-0399.

The Charlie Cutten Fellowship

The Cutten Fellowship is awarded to an individual nominated by a CCMC alumnus. It provides a grant of full tuition to one week of CCMC. The grant is intended to encourage the recipient's musical growth and exploration by offering the opportunity to participate in the kinds of study, musical expression, and musical interaction provided at California Coast Music Camp.

If you have attended CCMC and would like to nominate someone for this award, download the Cutten Fellowship application.

Deadlines for the Cutten Fellowship are the same as for scholarships (see above).
