People Powered
CCMC has relied on volunteer people power for many years. Since 2009 we’ve been able to hire a site director to help us with the business of planning for and running camp. Dedicated folks have served on the Board of Directors or as key volunteers helping to coordinate with the CCMC site director for activities in preparation for or at camp. But there’s more to CCMC than just summer camp.
There are many other opportunities and projects that welcome some helpful hands throughout the year:
- Serving on the Board of Directors
- Preparing the camp site by participating in the spring work weekend
- Helping with the CCMC-sponsored music stage at the Palo Alto Art & Wine Festival
- Helping with set up and clean up at the Annual Meeting & Jam
- Organizing dances and student concerts
- Helping CCMC be a part of other community music events
And as is the way with us, each activity is likely to include lots of opportunities to play music together!
If you have a special talent, interest and time to share please send us a note, we’d love to hear from you! Visit our Volunteer page for details.
